Product video brief
A 15-second product video has room for one clear idea. This template helps you state the product, the verified benefit, the visual material and the closing action without inventing facts.
Start with one product and one reason to care
Write the product name, the audience or use situation and one benefit that is supported by your own product information. Leave out rankings, testimonials, certifications and performance numbers unless you can provide the source for each one.
Choose a closing action that fits the goal: visit a page, learn more, try a feature or contact the seller. A short video can end with a simple instruction; it does not need to repeat the whole product listing.
Use this editable brief
Product: [name]. Audience or situation: [who uses it and when]. Main benefit: [one verified benefit]. Visual sequence: open with [product or context], show [detail or use], then close with [action]. On-screen wording: [exact words]. Style: [quiet, bold, editorial or another reference]. Ratio: [9:16, 1:1 or 16:9].
Attach the clearest product photos first. If a document contains specifications, identify it as a source document and keep the numbers in that document. The description should explain the desired story; source files should provide the facts.
Review the first and last frames
At the opening, a viewer should know what is being shown. At the ending, the product and action should remain readable long enough to understand. Watch the complete preview at the intended phone or desktop size and remove any text that cannot be read without pausing.
